Proud to be a coast to coast Canadian, Gail Hall is a mother, musician, artist, author, field naturalist and teacher. She was identified and supported as gifted from an early age.
As a life long learner and explorer, she continues a multi disciplined and multi media practice. She has earned graduate and post graduate university degrees in Fine and Performing Arts and Education from SFU.
The Arts in Education programs as well as Dr. Shinichi Suzuki’s mystical and ennobling philosophy, have formed the foundation of her teaching style. Wassily Kandinsky’s ‘The Spiritual in Art “ has greatly influenced her approach when making art and music.
She considers her main visual art collections to be a form of Documentary Art and Art in Context. They are designed to enrich our understanding and illuminate natural and contemporary human cultures.
Gail is a member in good standing at the Arts Council of Surrey, the BC Alliance for Arts and Culture, the Federation of Canadian Artists and the Surrey Rock Hound club. She is a volunteer at the Historic Stewart Farmhouse on Crescent Road in Surrey, and a member of Seeds of Diversity Canada.
